Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, tax preparation, and client advisory services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing client accounts, preparing financial statements, and supporting business owners in making informed financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting functions for multiple small to mid-sized clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Assist clients with tax planning, compliance, and filing (corporate, partnership, and individual).
- Provide financial analysis and advisory support to help clients improve profitability and efficiency.
- Oversee payroll processing, AP/AR, and cash flow management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Assist in the implementation of accounting systems and process improvements.
- Mentor junior accountants and support staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or consulting environment.
- CPA or CMA preferred (or progress toward certification).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or other cloud-based accounting software.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines effectively.
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
