We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Reception Team Lead to lead customer service operations and create exceptional member experiences across our fitness and community center facilities. This role requires a proactive leader who can motivate a team, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and drive initiatives that enhance member satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee customer service teams across multiple locations, including spa desk and fitness reception.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing service desk team.
- Ensure efficient and consistent operations across all service desks, including scheduling, communication, and adherence to service standards.
- Work collaboratively with fitness and community center managers to promote and cross-sell programs and events.
- Coordinate information flow and cross-train staff to maintain a culture of service excellence.
- Lead ongoing customer service training for fitness staff to enhance member interactions.
- Manage spa operations, including scheduling for massage, personal training, and Pilates services.
- Oversee department budgets and ensure fiscal accountability.
- Assist members with retail purchases and club service inquiries.
- Maintain an orderly, well-stocked service desk, including updating reference materials such as safety guidelines and lost-and-found logs.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive customer service experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; experience with customer databases essential.
- Sales experience with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required.
