Job Summary:

Exos is looking for a Business Development Lead with a successful track record of selling sports performance service solutions into large healthcare systems, branches of the military, and professional sports. This role will play a key role in driving new business by building lasting relationships with key influencers from different branches of the military, large healthcare systems, and professional sports organizations needing sports performance solutions to service their people.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • New account acquisition, with a focus on large healthcare systems, branches of the military, and professional sports organizations looking for sports performance service options.
  • Identify, establish, and maintain business relationships with executives, business units leaders, and HR leaders who have influence in the buying and decision-making process within prospective client organizations
  • Support the VP of Business Development with driving efficiencies in the pipeline and increasing close rates.
  • Proven hunter mentality with a track record of quota attainment through a combination of inbound lead flow and constant success with outbound prospecting activities
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the L&D and high-performance market space: market trends, industry challenges, major players, relevant products, and technologies.
  • Maintain excellent CRM records such that business reporting remains accurate.
  • Participate in targeted industry conferences and other networking events, and act as a brand champion, representing Exos’ culture and values in-person and online.
  • Exhibit leadership and strong teamwork to promote collaboration and alignment on the most effective go-to-market sales strategies.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of a deal including: all sales activities, billing, legal, security, and technical inquiries.
  • Partner with Customer Success and Operations to ensure great adoption, engagement, and high levels of expansion & retention.
  • Proven success with adaptability and capable of selling new product lines and services

Qualifications

  • Located in commuting distance to our Phoenix office, or at a minimum, commuting distance to one of our performance institutes
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of experience selling into enterprise or mid-market businesses
  • Proven success with presentations and client communications that have led to sales
  • Highly motivated self-starter who has demonstrated the ability to exceed bookings goals
  • Familiarity with modern selling methods, frameworks, and tools, including the use of social media to drive awareness and build trust with targeted and potential clients
  • Experience with CRM Tools (Hubspot, ect)
  • Experience selling into the large military space (a plus)
  • You are a visionary and compelled to achieve goals by always putting the customer first.
