Pay Range:
$73,100.00 - $120,200.00The People Business Partner supporting our Devens, Massachusetts site will serve as a partner and advisor to business leaders and align with global teams across Bio-Techne to advance our people priorities. The People Business Partner plays a critical role as site-level human resources function owner, fostering employee engagement, managing HR operations in partnership with the HR Operations COE, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The Devens site People Business Partner will be responsible for driving and operationalizing people initiatives aligned to the Bio-Techne global people strategy and champion Bio-Techne’s EPIC culture. Central to success for this role is partnering and collaborating with cross functional partners, the broader People Team and COEs, and business leaders onsite and across Bio-Techne. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Primary HR contact for the Devens site with responsibility for day-to-day HR operations in partnership with HR COEs
2. Serve as the lead HR partner for the site for addressing employee concerns and business leader requests
3. Implement and advise on HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
4. Support onboarding process for site specific roles
5. Operationalize the performance management, talent review, leader development, engagement, and employee relations programs and processes to meet business objectives within the division
6. Partner with all levels of leadership identify opportunities for organizational or cultural transformation to drive business performance
7. Partner with employees at all levels to address employee needs in partnership with HR COEs Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Benefits, HRIS, Total Rewards and Talent Development
8. Address employee relations issues and partner with internal and external legal counsel to create an engaging environment, drive compliance and resolve performance/behavioral issues
9. Manage and support culture, belonging, and engagement events at the site
10. Promote Bio-Techne EPIC values across the division
11. Utilize systems and data for progressive effectiveness and efficiency and ensure data integrity
12. Contribute to continuous improvement by setting growth standards, committing to quality experiences of HR programs by employees and leaders
13. Willing and able to travel up to 25% to other Bio-Techne facilities
14. Reports into a global, distributed HR team with off-site leadership

EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors’ degree required. 3 years of progressive people business partnering experience including organizational design experience and working across a matrix organization HR Generalist experience with previous work experience in talent management and employee relations Ability to work independently, with a minimum of direction and should be self-motivated to accomplish goals and objectives Ability to leverage people metrics and technology as a strategic asset to guide effectiveness and efficiency Experience working in biotech, pharma, and/or life sciences in a production setting is preferred SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred Workday experience preferred
