This is a full-time on-site Machinist role located in Kenilworth, NJ at Exothermic Molding, Inc. The Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining computerized Programmable Logic Controlled machinery, including CNC machining centers. Day-to-day tasks will involve machining parts to specifications, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Experience in operating CNC machines and understanding machining processes
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of materials, tooling, and cutting speeds
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Experience with RIM manufacturing processes is a plus
- Technical certification or degree in machining or related field
