Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to various locations.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery logs.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, including box trucks and vans.
- Familiarity with using pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
