What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Designer (Water) position at Exoticapedia LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to produce accurate and detailed CAD drawings for water, wastewater, stormwater, and site development projects.
- Assist in the development and implementation of design concepts and plans.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
- Conduct site visits and gather relevant data for design purposes.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
- Utilize CAD software and related tools effectively to create high-quality drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with other team members to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
Education/Experience:
- 2-year Technical or Vocational School CAD Design Certificate
Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in CAD design, with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant CAD software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines governing water and wastewater infrastructure design is desirable.
- Experience with site development projects is a plus.
