We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with case preparation and management, ensuring that all legal documentation is accurate and timely. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of personal injury law, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys in the preparation of personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate records using legal case management software.
- Transcribe legal documents and correspondence as needed.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to obtain necessary information for cases.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Tribal law regulations where necessary.
- Support attorneys during litigation processes by organizing exhibits and preparing trial materials.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required by the legal team.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in personal injury law or related fields such as Family law or Estate planning.
- Proficiency in legal drafting and familiarity with litigation processes.
- Knowledge of patent law is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures related to personal injury cases.
- Experience with administrative duties in a legal setting is preferred.
