Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage on-site operations. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating tasks, supervising crew members, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate and schedule tasks among crew members to meet project deadlines.
- Oversee the installation of drywall, trim carpentry, and frame carpentry.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
- Perform welding and fabrication as necessary for project requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections of work quality and adherence to specifications.
- Assist in construction estimating to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
- Train and mentor crew members on best practices in caulking, heavy lifting techniques, and equipment usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while enforcing safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in drywall installation, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, welding, and fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and safety practices related to construction work.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job duties.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in project execution.
