What are the responsibilities and job description for the F&S position at Exotics Racing School?
Job Description:
A Fire & Safety team member will be responsible to prepare and maintain the track during the day and to ensure the safety of the tracks at all time.
Essential Functions
- Monitor the safety of all tracks
- Communicate with departments via radio/walkie talkie
- Be aware for fire hazards in the workplace
- Maintain the conditions and requirement stated on Motorsport Adventures safety permit
- Keep flammable materials from ignition source
- In the event of incipient fires, extinguish immediately
- Contain and evacuate for fires other than incipient fires
- Ensure employees are aware of the exact location of the fire firefighting equipment in the immediate area
- Maintain constant means of communication with track management
- Before and during each shift, inspect the entire track and premises for potential hazards
- Drive fire & safety vehicle
- Assist with Company safety meetings
- Be prepared to operate fire extinguishers, hydrants fire pumps and hoses at anytime
- Assists other departments with guest concerns
- All other duties as assigned

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; to stand; to walk; to see; to use a radio; be on feet for extended period of time; to use hands; to possibly be exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; and to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds; be able to work in outside temperatures of up to 120 F in summer and 30 F in winter and regularly hear loud, repetitive noise.
Required Education and Experience
- CPR/AED trained
- One year fire service school or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
Preferred Education and Experience
- EMT
- Additional fire safety training
