OverviewElement has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. Builds and performs testing with limited direction or technical input from an Engineer, Senior / Principal Technician, or Department Supervisor. Interacts periodically with customers. Shows understanding of data being captured. Often represents a complete line of testing of moderate complexity. Likely to have some impact on multiple testing paths.Responsibilities
Responsible for carrying out all directions, and work to be performed, as handed over from first shift engineers and technicians
Responsible for completing all work and giving the handover to first shift in the morning.
Responsible for carrying out all work in a safe manner.Skills / Qualifications
Testing concepts may be new, but overall mechanical experience supports much shorter learning curve
Sufficient computer skills with excel, word, and power point
Is able to identify and assist in resolving technical issues where information is provided
Demonstrates originality and creativity in the application of specialized skills, practices, and knowledge
Supports projects and investigations employing experiential knowledge, intuition, and judgment to set direction
Critical thinking ability enables efficient and accurate resolution of technical issuesPhysical Demands :
Frequency of required physical force : Minimum (moderate)
Lifting requirements : lifting
50 lbs. on occasion
Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
