As a Firmware Engineering Intern at Exowatt, you will work on developing and refining embedded software for our solar power systems. You will contribute to firmware development, system integration, and real-time data acquisition to enhance the performance and reliability of our technology.
- Develop and test firmware for embedded systems used in solar thermal and Stirling engine control.
- Work with sensors, microcontrollers, and data acquisition systems to optimize performance.
- Assist in debugging, troubleshooting, and improving software reliability.
- Contribute to UI development for monitoring and control interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware and mechanical components.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with C/C , Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Familiarity with embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, Arduino, or similar), and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
