We are seeking a technically skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to drive the electrical design aspects of our renewable energy systems. This role focuses on technical excellence and project ownership rather than people management. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electrical components and systems that are critical to our products' performance.
- Develop electrical system architectures and designs for renewable energy applications
- Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and technical specifications
- Perform electrical analysis, simulation, and validation testing
- Design power electronics, control systems, and protection circuits
- Collaborate with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Evaluate component selections and vendor technologies
- Ensure designs meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and performance specifications
- Document designs, test procedures, and technical reports
- Support prototype builds and field testing
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in power electronics and renewable energy
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in electrical engineering with focus on power systems
- Strong knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and control systems
- Experience with high-voltage and high-power electrical systems
- Proficiency in electrical design software (Altium, EAGLE, KiCad, or similar)
- Familiarity with simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB, or similar)
- Understanding of engineering standards relevant to electrical systems (NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE)
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar inverters, battery management systems, grid integration) preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities

Salary : $110,000 - $170,000
