The Mechanical Engineering Intern will focus on designing, prototyping, and testing mechanical components for Exowatt’s renewable energy systems, contributing to system reliability and manufacturability.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and CAD modeling of mechanical components and assemblies.
- Conduct structural and thermal analysis to ensure component durability.
- Prototype and test mechanical systems in lab and field environments.
- Support design-for-manufacturing efforts to scale Exowatt’s technology.
- Pursuing a degree (BS, MS, or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., CREO, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
- Knowledge of structural analysis and material selection for high-temperature applications.
- Hands-on experience with prototyping and mechanical testing.
