What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement / Supply Chain Intern (June - August) position at Exowatt?

The Supply Chain Intern will contribute to manage commodities used in Exowatt’s renewable energy systems such as thermal cells, enclosures, and lenses.
\n- Assist to find/develop suppliers in terms of technical performance, cost, quality, deliveries.
- Benchmark suppliers to reduce cost.
- Responsible to create Purchases Orders for Production and to follow up accordingly.
- Monitor specific Key Performance Indicators for each managed commodity (including PPM, Delivery, Average Cost per Price, Number of Suppliers, Average Payment Terms).
- Pursuing a degree (BS, MS) in Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Has knowledge of categories and commodities
- Experience with a MRP system
- Hands on experience with supply chain projects
