EXP Journeys is seeking a Creative Designer & Content Specialist to infuse our luxury travel brand with compelling visuals and imaginative design. This role focuses on creating stunning, on-brand assets that elevate EXP’s storytelling and client materials. From designing travel program visuals and social media graphics to creating gifting elements and refining the aesthetic of client touchpoints, you’ll ensure every detail reflects the creativity and sophistication synonymous with EXP Journeys.
The ideal candidate is an artist at heart and a designer by trade—someone with an exceptional eye for detail, a passion for visual storytelling, and the ability to craft memorable designs inspired by luxury and travel.
Anticipated Start: January 2025
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Work Location: This position is primarily remote but requires some in-person time for meetings, projects, and event preparation.
Compensation: This position is salaried, paid twice monthly, and eligible for an incentive program.
What You’ll Do
1. Visual Design for Client Programs & Gifting
- Craft bespoke design elements for personalized itineraries, welcome materials, travel maps, and client-facing presentations.
- Contribute to the ideation and creation of gifting concepts that add a luxurious, personal touch to each journey.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on-brand creative assets for client experiences.
2. Digital & Website Design
- Create visually engaging website assets, including banners, infographics, and interactive design elements.
- Optimize digital designs for usability, performance, and mobile responsiveness.
- Work with developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of visual content.
3. Social Media & Marketing Content Creation
- Design visually stunning graphics for Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms that inspire engagement and align with EXP’s luxury ethos.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create cohesive campaigns across social media and email.
- Develop reusable templates for efficiency while ensuring all designs feel fresh and original.
4. Brand Aesthetic & Creative Development
- Evolve and maintain EXP’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all digital and print materials.
- Use typography, color, and imagery to translate EXP’s luxury travel stories into impactful designs.
- Stay ahead of design trends, continuously pushing creative boundaries to keep EXP’s visuals inspiring.
5. Print & Collateral Design
- Develop print assets such as brochures, postcards, and gifting elements that enhance client experiences.
- Ensure production standards meet the highest quality, collaborating with vendors for flawless execution.
6. Visual Storytelling & Ideation
- Collaborate with internal teams to visually tell the stories of client successes, guide expertise, and the magic of EXP Journeys.
- Brainstorm creative concepts for campaigns and marketing materials, using inspiration from art, culture, and travel.
- Constantly seek new ideas to innovate and refresh EXP’s approach to luxury branding.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 3–5 years in graphic design, content creation, or a similar creative role.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with tools like Figma.
- Design Sensibility: A strong portfolio showcasing versatility, attention to detail, and an understanding of luxury aesthetics.
- Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.
- Collaboration Skills: An enthusiastic team player who thrives on creative synergy with others.
