Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently searching for a Construction Manager for our Mid Atlantic Sector based in West Virginia.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance of plans, contract documents, specifications and standards.
- Interact with the public, government agencies, contractors, sub-contractors, and other internal and external parties to respond to inquiries and resolve field issues.
- Direct and assign specific tasks to inspectors.
- Notify contractors of non-compliance and corrective action.
- Track project progress and advises parties of possible overruns, and critical project issues.
- Coordinate and document the contractor's daily activities.
- Assist with project change orders, claims analysis and issue resolution.
- Analyze project related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Coordinate administrative aspects of projects including; contract reviews, contracting, scheduling, month-end processing, project accounting, project related reporting and cash management.
- Assist in the planning and development of company marketing and communication materials
- Review plans for constructability and biddability
- Represent the company at various community and / or business meetings
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Promote positive relations with contracts, vendors and consultants
The Skills, Knowledge and Abilities We Seek
The pay range for this role is $130,000 to $175,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
