Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently seeking a talented Roadway Engineer for our Rome or Atlanta GA Office. While working under limited supervision, the candidate will find opportunities on a wide range of projects involving traffic and safety studies, multi-modal roadway planning, highway design, site civil design, design review and construction oversight.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Assist in performing engineering design tasks for roadway and traffic projects from conceptual design to final design.
- Assist in developing civil design of multi-modal transportation projects per AASHTO and applicable design standards.
- Develop plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
- Assist in preparing final bid packages, design-build packages, and bridging documents.
- Assists in preparing reports, plans, and studies.
- Assists in developing proposals, presentations, and reports.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What your experience looks like
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering. Preferably in civil or transportation.
- Basic knowledge of Microstation and InRoads softwares.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- EIT or ability to obtain within one year.
