Expand Energy is searching for an Assistant Driller to join our field operations team located in one of the following : Ohio, West Virginia, or Louisiana .
The Assistant Driller operates, and repairs drilling equipment and provides guidance to work crews. You will provide guidance and training for work crew personnel regarding rigging up and rigging down, day-to-day operations and company policies and procedures. The Assistant Driller will assist the Driller in leading operations to ensure compliance with safety guidelines and established procedures by his assigned rig crew. You will be required to a flexible work schedule, including long and / or irregular hours, weekends and holidays.
To be successful in this role you will :
- Provide guidance and training for work crew personnel regarding rigging up and rigging down, day-to-day operations and company policies and procedures
- Maintain the desired mud weight & properties and transfers of all drilling fluid
- Will be accountable for the assisting the Driller in supervising the rig crew
- The Assistant Driller will communicate and assist the Rig Manager and Driller in improving HSE, production and controlling daily costs based on the operational budget goal
