Job Summary
This intermediate level position is responsible for nominating and monitoring natural gas production under close supervision in order to manage company volumes and minimize financial overspends related to those transactions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Nominates natural gas sales, correspondence internally and externally
- Completes nomination process for natural gas volumes
- Manages gathering system imbalances and cash out payments
- Fosters working relationships with midstream gathering companies
- Reviews monthly gathering invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance of contracts
- Provides data pertaining to allocations to management and other internal clients as needed
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Specific Skills
- Intermediate knowledge of pipeline nomination processes, electronic bulletin boards, pipeline tariffs, gas contracts, commodity markets and pricing
- Ability to work within a dynamic, fast-paced and business critical trading environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict guidelines
- Strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Thorough communication skills, ability to pick up the phone and problem solve with counterparty’s
- Ability to work in an on-call weekend rotation as well as holidays
Education
Minimum: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university - Accounting, Finance or related field
Experience
Minimum: 0 - 5 years related work experience
