Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Scheduler in Marietta, GA . The Production Scheduler will create and maintain production schedules utilizing internal processes with Excel for planning production activities, analyzing data for optimization, communicating with various teams, and managing inventory control.
Summary of Essential Job Functions :
- Schedule / reschedule production managed through Excel
- Place major emphasis on meeting customer requirements
- Prioritization of production orders in alignment with customer demand
- Update and provide open order and scheduling reports
- Complete work orders in production to update inventory
- Facilitate communication between the front office and production teams.
- Create and manage production schedules for machines running 24 / 7, ensuring timely product delivery
- Monitor production processes, making adjustments to stay on track and reduce downtime
- Maintain inventory records, balancing material availability and stock levels
- Collaborate with quality control to meet industry standards and customer requirements
- Keep internal teams and management updated on production status, delays, or issues
- Provide regular reports on production schedules and inventory
- Other duties as assigned
