Quality Control Analyst: Portal/Content (Entry Level) Job Description

Reports to DMB Product Manager

General Description

The QC Analyst is responsible for testing Portal, MGRNG, POS, DMB & V-Learning software and content.

Responsible for installing, reviewing, documenting, processing and testing of software products as well as auditing output data, and communicating progress updates internally. Expected to work with other departments in parallel to achieve optimum results.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

· Interpret and enforce quality assurance standards

· Able to follow procedures and directions for recording and reporting data

· Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality

· Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities

· Investigate customer complaints and non-conformance issues

· Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system

· Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

· Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities

• Cooperates and communicates with other team members to meet departmental goals
• Follows all company policies and procedures, including adhering to scheduling and attendance requirements
• Performs other duties / projects as requested by the DMB Product Manager or Director of QC

Tasks and Responsibilities

· Set up MGRNG systems on test portal to test MM updates for multiple brands

· Set up DMB systems to load content from development portals to test numerous content configuration scenarios

· Verify that DMB content & Portal editor functionality is adhering to complex sets of business rules

· Set up integrated DMB & MGRNG systems to ensure that prices are being mapped in content appropriately

· Test any software that is portal related

· Testing V-Learning content or OS software

· Testing DMB OS software and hardware

Education and Experience

· Strong SICOM product-specific experience

· Strong computer skills including Linux, PHP, and databases

· Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Lansdale, PA 19446: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• SQL: 1 year (Required)
• Selenium: 1 year (Required)
• Test automation: 1 year (Required)
