Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The Delivery Driver will be responsible for transporting goods from warehouses or distribution centers to customers or businesses.
Responsibilities
- Safely and timely deliver products to customers along designated routes
- Assist in loading and unloading cargo
- Verify contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles in a clean and organized manner
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or relevant position
- Familiarity with local area roads and neighborhoods
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages and operate hand trucks and forklifts
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, shipping, receiving, and distribution center operations
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
