Responsibilities
" Cloud Environment Management:
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and management of the various DelDOT cloud environments as needed (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
- Support the ongoing operation and maintenance of cloud resources to ensure uptime, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance and security issues, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work with external vendors and cloud service providers to manage larger-scale projects and integrate new tools or services.
- Communicate technical requirements, help evaluate vendor solutions, and assist in project implementation.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
- Develop and implement cloud-based solutions, focusing on scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Write and maintain scripts for automating cloud infrastructure tasks (e.g., provisioning, deployments, monitoring).
- Participate in the design and implementation of cloud-based services and applications.
- Regularly update cloud environments and deployed services to stay current with best practices, security patches, and new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues as they arise.
- Document processes, configurations, and updates to ensure knowledge sharing across the team.
