Job Description: SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm local time.

LOCATION: Onsite role

DURATION: 2-month project. Potential for extension not guaranteed. Potential for convert to perm but not guaranteed. Based on business need and worker performance.

CLIENT/SITE INFO: This is supporting a tech company in a client facing role. This is a professional company. Need someone who is polished. We need someone who knows how to interact with a client and communicate professionally.

TOP SKILL SETS: Interpersonal Communication, Self-Awareness, Active Listening, Self-Sufficient.

IDEAL BACKGROUND: Candidates with Commerical/Corporate backgrounds. Not residential

INTERVIEW PROCESS: 2 rounds of video or in person interviews with *** and then an intro call with Client.

ONBOARDING: In addition to *** standard onboarding, will require a client onboarding as well.

About The Role

As a *** Assistant Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for providing overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium sized buildings. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

The purpose of this position is to complete multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility.

What Youll Do

" Provide formal supervision to a maintenance technician. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.

" Schedule and manage the technician's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

" Oversees and/or coordinates maintenance/repair work assignments performed by technicians, vendors and contractors performing building maintenance, landscaping, and janitorial work.

" Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.

" Responds to client inquires and complaints. Ensures timely and quality service delivery to clients. Follows up with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.

" Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. Performs facilities inspections and prepares reports.

" Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.

" Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.

" Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects.

" Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.

" Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with *** RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.

" Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

" Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

" Coordinate and manage move, add and change activities.

" Reviews periodic reports including financials and explains variances. Works with finance team to correct errors.

" Utilize CMMS

" Other duties may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

" Manage 1 direct report (maintenance technician)

" May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers.

" Coordinate work and assign tasks.

What Youll Need

" Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred.

" Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.

" Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

" Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

" Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

" Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
