Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Maintenance Tech Apprentice to provide support to our maintenance team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone looking to gain experience in facility and equipment maintenance within a warehouse or production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior maintenance technicians in daily tasks
• Perform basic maintenance on conveyor systems
• Replace or repair lighting fixtures
• Handle minor plumbing tasks
• Conduct painting touch-ups as needed
• Operate a forklift and/or aerial lift (as required)
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues
• Basic computer and email communication skills
• Willingness to learn and support production needs

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Understanding of safety procedures in a maintenance or warehouse setting
• Experience working with conveyor systems
• Previous exposure to production support or warehouse environments

Certifications/Licenses:

• None required; lift certification is a plus

Interview Process:

• One on-site technical interview including a site tour

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Contract

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Overnight shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Lithia Springs, GA 30122: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
