Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our team. The Kitchen Helper will assist in food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
Duties
- Support kitchen staff in preparing ingredients for cooking
- Assist in meal preparation under the guidance of the chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
- Handle and store food items following proper food safety guidelines
- Assist with dishwashing and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Follow instructions from culinary team members
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced culinary setting
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $15.51 - $16.00 per hour
