Commercial Cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Dispose of waste materials and ensure proper recycling practices are followed.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any maintenance needs or inventory shortages.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, including deep cleaning or post-event cleanup.

Skills

• Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas needing improvement.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively with team members.
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, along with proper handling procedures is a plus.

Other Requirements

• Must have dependable transportation
• Must be able to walk up in down the stairs and left at least 50lbs
• Background check maybe required depending on cleaning location

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
