Job Description
Scope of Position
To handle the incoming and outgoing freight for the air warehouse.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- To perform all warehouse control duties including receiving, put away, picking, packing, releasing and stock taking functions.
- To assist in coordinating with truckers for delivery of warehousing services with follow the driver validation procedures.
- To update shipment event code in the system.
- To audit picking activities by using warehouse checklist from agents and truckers including freight labelling, update event codes, etc.
- To ensure warehouse cargo manifests checked, paperwork signed, and trailers sealed.
- To ensure products are stored in proper designated, safe area and presentable condition.
- To report any OSD shipments and document relevant information and update respective customer service on any photo available.
- To maintain proper and updated inventory records to meet customer requirements.
- To maintain warehouse facility and warehouse housekeeping including checking of forklift, availability of battery water, battery power, etc. in effective and efficient condition.
- To take up additional responsibilities as required to meet the Company's needs.
