The Developer in Test role has multiple responsibilities. The Developer in Test designs, develops, and maintains complex automation and custom test frameworks. They participate in the design and development of systems with a focus on assuring quality and testability. They fully understand and support the role of the Quality Assurance Engineer by providing automation test strategies and tools for our technologies and systems. They also perform quality assurance tasks such as test planning, test case generation and feature testing. They act as a driver for progress in their team.
This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Minimum Qualifications
- 2 years of experience or familiarity working with object-oriented languages.
- 2 years of experience in a technical quality assurance role.
- Experience with reading/writing code (Java and Python preferred).
- Experience working with test automation frameworks.
- Experience generating consensus among team members.
- Customer service-oriented attitude and top-notch time management.
- Driven to find out why applications and testing works, or does not work.
- Desire to grow skills and capabilities, and assist team members in doing the same.
- Curious to discover how applications and testing could be improved.
- Proficiency with API level test automation and testing best practices.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting and communicating technical issues.
- Proficiency in driving technical and process improvements.
- Experience working with databases and web application frameworks.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development/Test Driven Development.
- Familiarity with Java application development.
- Familiarity with and Windows/Linux systems infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Cloud development.
- Familiarity with leading small teams to innovate practices and methods.
- Familiarity with explaining technical items to non-technical stakeholders.
- BS in Computer Science or comparable work experience.
- Experience with GIT or other versioning tool, IntelliJ, Kafka, Docker, and any WebDriver tool.
