Job Description

Expeditors is seeking an IT Audit Manager to join the Internal Audit team. This role’s primary responsibility is to lead the IT Audit, focusing on compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. The IT Audit Manager will work in a dynamic international environment and interact with different groups to perform various internal IT audit activities. The IT Audit Manager is also expected to supervise IT audit members and review their work.

  • Leadinterim and final IT audit procedures around IT general and application controls andprovidefront-end and back-end support for the completion of these procedures.
  • Reviewand analyze audit evidence and relevant processes and procedural documentation.
  • Conductwalkthroughs of IT application controls with process/control owners.
  • Prepareand write IT audit work papers in a clear, concise, and professional manner that can easily be understood by the reviewer and target audience, including various management teams, upon performance of IT audit steps and procedures.
  • Evaluatethe completeness and accuracy of key reports utilized as part of the internal control processes in accordance with IT audit methodology.
  • Overseeaudit work performed by IT Auditors.
  • Participatein meetings and discussions regarding upcoming changes and updates to the Company’s information systems and controls.
  • Contributeto the annual Risk Assessment of the Control framework with regards to IT controls.
  • SuperviseandmentorIT Auditors in the team.
  • Executeother projects relevant to IT Audit as assigned, including assistance with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives using UiPath, Power BI, etc.

This position can be based at any of Expeditors' greater Seattle office locations: Bellevue (Preferred), Downtown Seattle, Lynnwood, or Federal Way.

This position is on-site and will reside in the greater Seattle, WA. area at one of the following locations depending on availability. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate. Relocation assistance is not offered for this position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive IT audit experience with a focus on either IT application or SOX ITGC audits (public accounting experience from a Big 4 is preferred).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of common audit frameworks (e.g., COSO Integrated Framework, ITIL, and COBIT internal control framework, Risk and Compliance (GRC) management model, and hands-on Sarbanes-Oxley experience).
  • Demonstrated analytical and computer skills (proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising and mentoring audit teams.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Certification preferred (CISA, CIA, CISSP, and/or CPA).
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic international environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath and data visualization tools like Power BI is a plus.

Additional Information

Expected base salary range: $122,500 – $155,500
