ExpeDry is a fast growing company looking to expand our team. We are in need of highly skilled project manager/estimator.
Position Overview:
Restoration Project Manager must be understanding and compassionate to customers that have faced personal property damage, or contamination. Must be capable and willing to patiently explain what is needed to restore what matters most to the customer. Must know the Xactimate program for insurance processing and proper billing. Must be able to create estimates using Xactimate.
A Project Manager starts and completes Water, fire, and mold Restoration tasks. Once the field project manager get the work Autho signed you will be assigned to the job as a project manager. You will set up testing, abatement if needed. Help home owner open claim, be point of contact for the adjuster, be point of contact for the homeowner, schedule and assign lead techs and demo techs, maximize profit on jobs, manage job documentation, help assist techs to complete job, be point of contact for any of the techs questions, monitoring equipment, collect payments, earn 5 star reviews, help turn over lead to recon department. The individual will also adhere to EPA, OSHA, IICRC Water Restoration, and local requirements regarding safety and hazardous materials handling. Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances. The individual must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends. We are a new water restoration company needing the expertise of an experienced individual to grow with us.
Responsibilities
Must be able to confidently communicate to insurance companies, agent, and adjusters, plumbers, and plumbing companies to sell our emergency services.
- Perform content drying and restoration work on residential and commercial properties
- Perform physical labor associated with cleanup activities, packing customers' contents, general on-location cleaning, HVAC cleaning and deodorization of facilities if needed.
- Must be able to confidently communicate to customers,
- Follow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear
- Operate routinely used tools and equipment
- Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance
- May need to perform work at high elevations such as from a ladder and scaffolding
- Possible hazardous Waste Operations
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 4 Years Experience in the restoration industry
- Valid Drivers’ License and satisfactory driving record
- Good verbal and written and communication skills
- Good customer service skills
- Experience with using mobile software to enter data (DASH)
- Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform
- Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
- Certifications are not required but preferred:
- WTR – Water Damage Restoration Technician
- ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician
- IICRC Water Restoration certification is required. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic with the ability to follow directions. Good communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction, company safety policies are a must.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Bilingual English/Spanish is encouraged, but not required.
- Physical Demands: Must be in good physical health and be able to meet the medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZPOWER) medical surveillance physical examination and drug screening. Able to wear full and half face respirator, may work in confined spaces and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work Environment: Working around equipment and machinery, the work environment is usually dirty, dusty and noisy, on uneven ground/surfaces containing hazardous or potentially hazardous substances and/or materials and is subject to inclement or extreme weather conditions and temperatures. Work includes handling hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Frequent travel is required for this position. - Must have mathematical skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
