What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Manager - Platform US Remote position at Experian?
The Platform Team at Experian is looking for an Engineering Manager with expertise in batch compute platform and AWS cloud infrastructure with experience managing and scaling a globally distributed engineering team. This role requires experience in distributed computing cloud infrastructure and job orchestration as well as a solid understanding of data and analytics engineering principles to ensure seamless integration with broader data platforms.
In this role youll have the opportunity to :
- Provide guidance to the engineering teams on leveraging platform tools and provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.
- Encourage innovation implementation of the latest technologies outsideofthebox thinking and teamwork.
- Hire engineering talent and maintain our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Collaborate with and across teams to design build and ship great experiences for our customers.
- Lead the platform team in designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement emphasizing code reviews design reviews and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Bring a passion to stay on top of industry trends experiment with and learn new technologies.
