What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal Application Architect Remote position at Experian?
As the Principal Application Architect youll have the opportunity to :
- Be responsible for endtoend system architectures integrity cohesion and evolution.
- Recognize and make tradeoffs concerning the whole architecture. Identify deeprooted systemic issues within the stack and lead longterm initiatives to address them.
- Ensure the delivery of large systems involving several teams contributions.
- Debug and analyze the root cause of problems involving multiple components across the organization.
- Help develop a multiyear technology strategy for critical business areas encompassing multiple systems and departments.
- Be a multiplier by building systems developing tools or introducing policies or patterns that raise the entire organizations productivity level.
- Break down complex problems that impact the entire architecture into potential solutions and knowns / unknowns to build momentum toward change.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to roll out large technical initiatives and improvements across the entire engineering department to evaluate the success while looking for longerterm gains.
- Present engineerings most significant issues to company leadership with compelling evidence and a detailed backlog of the problems and potential solutions to explore.
- Present technical architecture practices and hold training sessions.
- Communicate a clear vision supported by guidelines for sound architecture and best practices across the company.
- Schedule and participate in architecture reviews and when appropriate in code reviews to provide actionable feedback.
- Drive initiatives for teaching sponsoring and coaching and increase collaboration with engineers of all backgrounds.
