Title: Performer for Experience Nutridge

Location: Oahu, Hawaii

Job Type: Part-Time & Full-Time

Job Summary:

As a performer, you are expected to perform various hula numbers and dances for our guests and showcase your skills and talents with Hawaiian culture and traditions. You are also expected to follow the quality and performance standards of our Luau and ensure that you and the guests are happy and satisfied. Single and Double Fire Knifepositions available - Sunday availability a plus!
Training starts at $15.40 per hour, but you're able to transition from training to full pay after the first day. Probationary period ends after 30 days and currently we are doing a $250 signing bonus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Have previous experience and training in hula
• Performing various entertainment duties, including stage speaking
• Prepare for performances by rehearsing various choreographed dances and chants
• Execution of dances, techniques, choreographies and staging as instructed
• Care for costumes and equipment
• Prepare Ulu Maika (bowling) and O’oihe (spear throwing)
• Setting up and breaking down of Makahiki area
• Preparing imu prior to show time
• Assist with the buffet line and area are properly cleaned, stripping down tablecloths
• Complete assigned cleaning areas and receive a sign off from the Supervisor, Assistant or Line Captain. Inform Supervisor if supplies are running low
• Works in accordance with verbal and written instructions
• Other duties as assigned
