The Behavioral Healthcare Tech will be responsible for assisting clinical staff with the treatment program and acts as liaison to the client community. Supervise client compliance with residential program rules and guidelines.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
· Orientates, welcomes and reviews client handbook with new clients.
· Consistently completes client-related paperwork at admit and discharge.
· Performs searches, deciphers contraband from authorized items; labels and stores luggage for safekeeping.
· Ensures client attend all scheduled sessions throughout the day and evening, keeps and files attendance records.
· Understands Client Handbook and consistently adhere to its guidelines, redirecting clients from negative behaviors.
· Provides transportation to clients while strictly adhering to vehicle safety and driving rules.
· Performs property rounds on a regular basis.
· Oversees client use of telephones.
· Conducts and records urinary analyses processes and results.
· Client medication monitoring.
· Client charting, recording client events/behaviors and communicating with clinical team.
· Client crisis intervention/prevention.
· Attends in-services and mentor trainings.
· Ensure with culinary correct portions are being met for clients with eating disorders
· Provide meal support during meals with eating disorder clients
· Assist ED clients in attending ED-focused support groups/meetings
· Understand clients’ individual meal plan/diet order to support client in meeting adequate nutrition goals
· Complete all shift change requirements and documentation by the end of each shift.
· Provides required facility housekeeping and bed turn for incoming clients.
· Notifies immediate supervisor or facility coordinator of facility or vehicle damage or repair needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
