What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney - Remote position at Experienced Professional Law Office?
Growing law firm based in Northern and Southern California specializing in personal injury and workers' compensation trials seeks a full-time litigation trial attorney with 3-5 years’ experience. We are seeking someone to represent injured people in plaintiffs’ side personal injury cases to work in our Riverside/Los Angeles Counties office. Job responsibilities will include representing clients, drafting complaints and motions, conducting legal research, propounding discovery requests, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediation, court hearings, and trial. Applicants should have the following skills:
Applicants should have the following experience and qualifications:
- Motivated to resolve cases and conduct trials,
- Communicating effectively with opposing counsel & clients,
- Strong writing skills,
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, & Outlook,
- Ability to work with and manage support staff,
- Manage large number of cases.
- Intention to stay in position long term and motivated to improve firm success,
- Flexibility to travel throughout California,
- Well organized & detail oriented,
- Personable and excellent communicator,
- Ability to adjust and improve upon mistakes.
This position is available immediately. Bar card necessary for court appearances. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not necessary. Salary plus bonuses based on experience.
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
