Trinity Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, WI, seeks a passionate Minister of Music to accompany our congregation in music and faith. This is a part-time role averaging 10-12 hours per week.
Responsibilities include :
- Collaborate with our Pastor and Worship team with music selection and worship planning for our weekly Sunday and additional special services.
- Provide musical accompaniment on organ or piano for weekly Sunday and additional special services including : Preludes, Hymns, Offertory, Anthems, Communion, Special Music, Postlude and other needs. (Trinity has a 2 manual 18 rank Austin pipe organ)
- Strive to incorporate other talent and musical instruments into special music during services.
- Attend all Worship Committee meetings, one evening per month.
- Provide musical accompaniment for weddings and funerals.
- Arrange for a substitute accompanist during vacation or illness.
- Arrange for tuning of pianos and church organ, including routine maintenance.
