In this critical role, you will support a culture of safety and compliance by developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain policies and resources for site security, including conducting investigations when required.
- Support corporate safety initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review work practices to identify areas for improvement and organize training programs to increase safety awareness and adherence.
You will also act as the primary authority in all areas of occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance, and plant security for the facility.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Demonstrated technical competencies in safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-based skills.
