Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2
Location: Onsite, Boydton, VA
Pay Range: $30/hr. - $35/hr.
OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification required.
What's the Job?
As a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 2, you will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a focus on safety, ensuring all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently.
Complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 role description.
Perform daily operational readings of all electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.).
Follow operating procedures (SOPs) for critical environment planned work activities.
Energize cabinets in a Colo and conduct Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) preventative maintenance quarterly and annually.
Conduct system control panel and battery preventative maintenance.
Assist in troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing instrument sensors and calibrating them.
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and compliance with physical security policies and procedures.
What's Needed?
Previous data center experience is a plus.
Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.
Qualified Electrical Worker preferred.
Experience with electrical systems in high availability environments, such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, or manufacturing.
OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification required.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
3 years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center).
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, or 3, 4, or 5-day work weeks.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
