Our client, a leading Manufacturing organization, is seeking a Controller to join their team. As a Controller, you will be part of the Accounting Department supporting the financial health of the company. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Controller

Location : Solon, Ohio

Pay Range : Negotiable

What's the Job?

Responsible for the development and administration of an effective accounting system to generate essential information for management planning and control of company operations.
Organize and staff the Accounting Department with qualified personnel and provide adequate training and performance feedback.
Cooperate with department managers to establish or assist in the development of annual budgets.
Act as a liaison with the company's independent auditors on accounting and tax matters.
Monitor daily cash flow activity to coordinate the bank line of credit and provide weekly status reports to pertinent managers / executives.

What's Needed?

Broad knowledge of accounting (general and cost) and financial theory and practice, tax procedures, and budgeting techniques.

4-year degree in Accounting required.

CPA required; CMA or MBA preferred.

3-5 years of experience preferred, with Big 4 / Public accounting experience (3 years preferred).

Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Access); IFS and Paylocity experience preferred.
