Our client, in consumer packaged goods industry is seeking a Customer Demand Planner to join their team. The ideal candidate will have customer service, supply chain / logistics and supply chain systems experience which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Customer Demand Planner
Location : Englewood Cliffs NJ -or- Fully Remote
Pay Range : $26 - $32 hourly (W2 only, NO C2C)
Contract : 3 months (extensions possible)
What's the Job?
- Serve as the responsible party for modeling demand, planning replenishment, and managing inventories with a customer-focus for key customers in our integrated and extended supply chain, with emphasis on managing baseline forecasts on all items and promotional volume and phasing on key promotions.
Activities require frequent communication with Customer Development and the customer, and the successful execution of the role has a direct effect on sales volume / profitability as well as the customer's sales volume / profitability.
You will apply analytical techniques and leverage supply chain data to develop tactical inventory replenishment plans for your customer.
Link closely with Customer Development, Customer partners, Response Planner and Operations leadership in planning and executing inventory preparedness and order execution for Terms of Sale compliance.
Analyze key trends in order history in the context of the customer's supply chain processes to proactively identify and propose improvements.
What's Needed?
1-3 years of relevant Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, or Customer Service experience required.
Technical understanding of SAP, AMPS, Merlin or other Supply Chain information systems and strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Access.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
