Our client, a leading energy company, is seeking a Distribution Dispatcher Associate to join their team. As a Distribution Dispatcher Associate, you will be part of the Distribution System team supporting the safe and reliable operation, dispatching, and restoration of facilities for the client's Distribution System. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
Job Title : Distribution Dispatcher Associate
Location : Fort Wayne, IN 46802Onsite
Pay Range : $33.57 / hr.
Duration : 12-month contract (potential to convert)
Schedule : Fully Onsite, Rotating Shifts (24 / 7 Operation), typically 40-Hr a week
What's the Job?
Promote and enforce the Company's Safety and Health programs
Adhere to written company and department policy and procedures
Effectively operate company communication equipment
Dispatch service personnel to respond to outage and emergency situations
Maintain accurate outage records and records of abnormal and defective equipment for distribution facilities
What's Needed?
Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology or Bachelor of Science in any field or equivalent education and / or experience
Rotating shift work required
Must maintain a high availability for call-out response
Must live within or be willing to relocate to within 30 minutes of the reporting location
Must be able to work under pressure during periods of critical system conditions and deal with diverse situations simultaneously
