Job Title : Drone Flight Support Assistant Location : Pendleton, OR, US Pay Rate : $34 / hr. Hours : 40 hours per week Duration : 10 Months (Extension & Conversion Possible) Work Schedule :
- Either 5 / 8 schedule or 4 / 10 schedule (subject to change based on business demands)
- Nights and weekends may be required
- Normal cadence : 40 hours per week Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Flight Support Assistant with a strong sense of judgment, discipline, and a safety-first mindset. Top 3 Must-Have Hard Skills : 1. UAS Operation & Flight Experience 2. UAS Maintenance & Troubleshooting 3. Safety and Compliance Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct field and flight operations for unmanned aerial systems (UAS)
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on drones and ground support equipment
- Ensure safety and compliance with aviation regulations and company protocols
- Support flight readiness and logistics planning
- Adhere to FAA rules and regulations and maintain aviation safety standards Required Qualifications :
- Current 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- Valid Driver’s License (Must meet driver eligibility criteria) Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience with remote-control aircraft or multi-rotor products
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Aviation safety experience
- Knowledge of FAA rules and regulations
