What are the responsibilities and job description for the Governance, Process and Controls Monitoring Analyst position at Experis?

Role : Risk Governance Consultant
Location : NYC, NY - 10013 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite per week)
Position type : 4 months with high possibility of extension / Conversion
Pay range : $90 - $100 / hr on W2
Governance, Process and Controls Monitoring Analyst : lead process framework, evaluate governance structure, standards, processes to uplift / provide enhancement. Document and execute the enhancement(s). Provide oversight over controls, clear guidelines, and methodology.
1. Review existing Enterprise Risk Management Training Program framework(s), governance structures, standards and associated processes and controls
2. Reviewing appropriate policy, standard, documentation (e.g. Policy Governance Policy, Global Training Standard, Controls Policy / Standard, Managers Control Assessment Standard, Consent Order Closure Documentation requirements, etc.) to familiarize with various requirements ERMTP is subject to
3. Analysing and evaluating existing documentation and controls against requirements (identified in #1 and #2 above) for gaps, inconsistencies and areas of improvement
4. Making recommendation to ERMTP management to remediate gaps, inconsistencies and areas of improvement identified in #3 above.
5. Developing action plans with target dates to oversee the recommendations agreed upon in #4 above.
6. Executing action plans / enhancement to frameworks, governance structures, standards, processes, etc. which include creating or updating documents, tracking changes, presenting recommendations and changes to various stakeholders, and obtaining approvals
7. Establishing and implementing ERMTP Governance Framework, including establishing the roles and responsibilities, members, cadence, and meeting management (scheduling, agenda, meeting minutes, material management, communication, etc.)
8. Developing Control Testing methodology per client Control Standards
9. Executing Control Testing as needed
