Job Description:
As an Electrical Test Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development of innovative medical devices. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing of new and existing electromechanical medical devices. You will also be responsible for setting up and monitoring testing activities while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Additionally, you will document test results accurately and communicate findings to engineering personnel, participate in product failure analysis, and suggest design improvements based on test observations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess an Associate's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering. Alternatively, you may have ~1-2 years of engineering lab experience or recent graduates with relevant internship experience. Familiarity with testing equipment and procedures, including environmental testing requirements, is highly desirable. Furthermore, you should be able to utilize various testing equipment and tools, including multimeters and environmental chambers, to perform tests efficiently and effectively.
