Our client, a leading player in the Beverage / Food Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Merchandise Planner to join their team. As a Merchandise Planner, you will be part of the Global Licensing & Retail team supporting various operational units. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and excellent project management capabilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Merchandise Planner
Location : Atlanta, GA (In-office 1-2 days a week)
Part-time : 20 hours / week with potential to increase to 30 hours

What's the Job?
Oversee all merchandise related responsibilities for a new retail concept.
Manage ongoing cross-category merchandise assortment tailored to the target consumer and market.
Plan and manage the Open-to-Buy for the store, ensuring sales and margin targets are met.
Coordinate order timing with US store order placement to ensure cost targets are met.
Conduct analysis and produce reporting with actionable recommendations for business optimization.
What's Needed?
5 years of retail merchandise planning experience in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of retail KPIs and a proven track record of driving business results.
Excellent collaboration and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Power BI.
Ability to thrive in a networked environment with high attention to detail.
