We are looking for a "Network Engineer" to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.
Job Summary
In this role, you will collaborate with local and remote technical teams and vendors to support back-end infrastructure operations and projects. Translate business inputs into system requirements, represent IT in discussions, and ensure adherence to corporate standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide physical support for all aspects of network, compute, data / voice infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues across office, field, and manufacturing sites.
- Liaise and execute tasks with global support teams, vendors, and managed services providers (MSPs).
- Perform Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting.
- Contribute to end-to-end delivery of projects with a focus on localized processes associated with procurement, staging, installation and asset lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business contacts, ensuring problem resolution and facilitating system change management.
- Coordinate on-site and remote support, offering after-hours assistance on a rotational basis.
- Work in a supportive environment with a strong safety and security focus.
- Ensure all applicable corporate IT standard processes and procedures are followed.
- Coordinate support for on-site and other remote sites as required.
- Facilitate the end-to-end delivery of IT solutions from ideation, cost estimation, and requirements gathering through to deployment and support.
- Proactively identify opportunities for improvement to strive towards operational excellence.
- Travel as required to support operational and project deliverable requirements.
