Job Description :

  • The Safety Health & Environmental Contractor is responsible for providing support to the Safety Health & Environmental Manager with the implementation and coordination of programs and projects related to Safety Health & Environment. Implement and participate in company Safety Health & Environmental policies, processes, procedures, and training.
  • Primary responsibilities :

    • o Chemical reviews and support system migration

    o Hazard evaluations and risk assessments for job tasks and equipment

    o Support document management system migration

    o Machine guarding assessments

    o Safety training content updates and content development

    o Provide key support to other Safety Health & Environmental systems as directed

    Experience / Background / Skills :

  • Bachelors degree (preferred) in Safety Management or other related field
  • 2 - 5 years experience in successfully implementing Safety, Health, and Environmental activities in a manufacturing setting or related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • General knowledge of plant operations including production, maintenance, and warehouse
  • Understand the safe operation and environmental impacts of equipment and processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required along with the ability to be able to communicate with audiences that have a broad range of background and understanding
  • Ability to organize and prioritize
