As a Site Engineer, you will be part of the project management team supporting various construction initiatives. Job Title : Site Engineer
Location : Lake Bluff, IL
Pay Range : $80 - $90 per hour
What's the Job?
Oversee and manage construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety guidelines.
Supervise subcontractors and craft workers, ensuring efficient and profitable work performance.
Act as the main technical adviser on-site, providing guidance to subcontractors and craftspeople.
Conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to review progress and plan upcoming work.
Manage quality control and safety matters on-site, ensuring adherence to regulations.
What's Needed?
High School diploma or GED with 5-10 years of experience as a Site Engineer on similar projects.
Strong leadership and management skills, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficient in computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and Project.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools, particularly in high-rise concrete construction.
Ability to resolve unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise during construction.
